Terms of Use

Applies to the World VPN App on every platform on which we offer it, including mobile and desktop.

Effective date: 18 September 2026 · Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Essa Studio MCHJ ("we", "us", "our"), registered at 2 Bodomzor Street, Shayx Shivli MFY, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

They govern your use of World VPN (the "App") and the VPN network, content, features and services we make available through it (together, the "Service").

By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is a notice about our practices, not a contract, and does not form part of these Terms — but please read it.

2. Your licence and the app stores

Where you download the App from an app store, your licence to install and use it is granted under the agreement of that store — Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, or the Google Play Terms of Service. These Terms govern your use of the Service and your relationship with us; they do not replace the store agreement. If the two conflict as to the scope of your licence, the store agreement prevails. Where you download the App directly from us rather than from a store, we grant you the licence described in this Section directly.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may install and use the App on devices you own or control, up to the number of simultaneous connections shown in the App or on the purchase screen, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or transfer the App or your access to it; copy, modify or create derivative works of it; reverse engineer or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this cannot lawfully be restricted; or remove any proprietary notices.

Apple and Google. These Terms are between you and us alone — not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and are not responsible for addressing any claim relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims of intellectual property infringement. You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of the iOS version of the App and may enforce them against you.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or older where the law of your country sets a higher minimum age — in parts of the European Economic Area that age is 14, 15 or 16. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.

Not every version of the App requires an account. Where the App offers accounts:

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date
  • Your account is personal to you. You may not share your credentials or your paid access with anyone else, and you may not maintain multiple accounts to obtain benefits intended for one person
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@captain.show if you believe your account has been compromised
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — see Section 4.5

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features of the App are free; others require payment. What is included in each plan, its price, its billing period and the number of devices it covers are shown on the purchase screen in the App before you buy. The terms shown on that screen at the time of purchase form part of your agreement with us, and they prevail over any general description elsewhere.

All purchases made in the App are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which act as the seller and process your payment. We do not receive or store your payment details. Where you buy a subscription through our website rather than in the App, the terms shown at checkout apply to that purchase in place of this Section.

4.1 Plans

Where the App offers subscriptions, these may run for a week, a month, three months or a year, and may be offered at different prices in different countries and at different times. Where the App offers a one-off purchase, Section 4.4 applies.

4.2 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price, and your store account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends.

4.3 Free trials and introductory offers

Where the App offers a free trial or a discounted introductory period, its length and the price that follows are shown on the purchase screen. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription and you are charged.

Eligibility for trials and introductory offers is determined by Apple and Google, and they are generally available once per person per app. If you buy a subscription during a trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.

4.4 Lifetime access

Where the App offers "lifetime" access, this means a one-time payment that gives you access to the paid features of the App, on the store account used to buy it, with no recurring charge.

"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the App, not yours. It means for as long as we continue to make the App available on that platform. It is not transferable, does not extend to our other apps, and does not oblige us to keep operating the App, to keep any particular feature or server location, or to keep supporting any operating system version indefinitely. If we decide to discontinue the App, we will give reasonable advance notice where we can. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

4.5 Cancelling

You cancel through your store account, not through us:

  • iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → select the subscription → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select the subscription → Cancel

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App, or deleting your account, does not cancel a subscription — you must cancel through the store.

4.6 Refunds

Because Apple and Google are the seller, refunds are handled under their policies and we cannot issue them ourselves. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play’s refund process. We are happy to help you with a problem with the App at support@captain.show, but we cannot reverse a charge made by a store.

Nothing here limits any refund or remedy you are entitled to under the consumer law of your country.

5. What the Service is — and what it is not

The App routes your device’s internet traffic through a server we operate or rent, encrypting the traffic between your device and that server. It is a privacy and security tool. It is not a guarantee of anonymity, and it does not change what you are permitted to do online.

We do not inspect or log the websites you visit or the content of your traffic. What we do collect, and why, is described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not promise or guarantee that:

  • The Service will make you anonymous. Your anonymity also depends on your device, your browser and other software, the accounts you sign in to, and your own behaviour
  • A particular server location or IP address will remain available, or that an IP address assigned to you will not change
  • Any website, app, network or service will accept, recognise or permit a connection made through the Service
  • Use of the Service will be undetectable, or will prevent CAPTCHAs, security alerts, multi-factor prompts or account lockouts triggered by a third party
  • The Service will prevent every IP, DNS, WebRTC or other information leak, including when the connection drops, when your device sleeps, or when other software on your device bypasses the tunnel
  • The Service will protect you from malware, phishing or other threats that do not depend on your network connection
  • The Service will satisfy the policies of your employer, school, network operator or any other organisation

6. Your responsibility for how you use the Service

Local law. The use of VPN services is restricted or prohibited in some countries. You decide for yourself whether using the Service is permitted where you are, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. We do not provide legal advice, and we may be unable to provide the Service in some locations.

Third-party terms. We cannot see or control what you do while connected. You are responsible for complying with the terms of every website, app and service you access through the Service, including streaming, gaming and financial services, and for any consequence under those terms — including suspension or termination of your account with that service. The Service is not a tool for circumventing copyright protections, licensing restrictions or regional access controls in breach of a third party’s rights or terms.

Your traffic. Everything you send or receive while connected is your responsibility, whether or not you intended it, and whether or not you were aware of it. This includes traffic generated by other applications on your device.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, in any jurisdiction whose law applies to you or to the traffic
  • Access, store, share or distribute child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises minors
  • Gain, or attempt to gain, unauthorised access to any device, account, network or system; scan ports, probe or test the vulnerability of systems you are not authorised to test; or intercept data not intended for you
  • Send spam, phishing or other unsolicited bulk communications, or operate open relays, proxies or servers through the Service
  • Launch or take part in denial-of-service attacks, or distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code
  • Upload, download or share copyrighted material without authorisation, including through peer-to-peer networks
  • Harass, threaten, defame, stalk or defraud anyone, or impersonate any person or entity
  • Generate traffic that causes abuse complaints, blocklisting or law-enforcement enquiries directed at our servers or IP addresses
  • Consume bandwidth or connections at a level that degrades the Service for other users, or use the Service for commercial, automated or bulk traffic inconsistent with personal use

You also agree not to:

  • Share, resell or transfer your account, credentials or paid access
  • Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any payment, subscription validation, entitlement check, device limit, usage limit or security measure
  • Use automated means to access the Service, or use it at a volume or frequency inconsistent with normal personal use
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the App’s source code, server configurations or keys, except where the law does not permit this to be restricted
  • Interfere with the operation, integrity or security of the Service or our servers
  • Misrepresent your identity, your age, or your eligibility for an offer
  • Submit deliberately false or abusive support or refund requests

8. Abuse complaints and legal requests

Because we do not inspect your traffic, we generally cannot tell which user is responsible for a given activity. We rely on complaints from third parties and on technical indicators such as blocklisting or unusual load, and we investigate on that basis. Where a complaint or indicator relates to a particular server or account, we may suspend access to that server or account while we investigate.

Please send complaints about misuse of the Service to support@captain.show.

The Service is a transitory network communications service. We do not host, store, index or cache the content you send or receive, and we cannot remove or disable access to content held by others. We are therefore unable to act on takedown notices designed for hosting, caching or search services.

Repeat infringers. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts and access of users who repeatedly infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. Where repeated infringement notices can reasonably be attributed to an account or to your use of the Service, we will act under Section 10.

Where the law requires us to disclose information in response to a valid request from a competent authority, we will comply to the extent required. Where we do not hold the information requested — including activity or connection records we do not keep — we cannot produce it.

9. Network, performance and fair use

We operate a network of servers whose locations, capacity and providers change over time. We may add, remove or relocate servers, change the IP addresses they use, and change the protocols and ports the App supports, without notice.

We do not guarantee any particular connection speed, latency, bandwidth or uptime. Performance depends on your own internet connection, your distance from the server, network congestion, the behaviour of the site or service you are connecting to, and factors outside our control.

To keep the Service usable for everyone, we may apply fair-use measures — including limiting connection speed, data volume, session length, or the number of simultaneous devices — where usage is excessive or where a server is under strain. Where the App offers free access, that access may be limited in speed, data, server locations or features, and those limits may change.

We may suspend the Service, in whole or in part, for maintenance, security or capacity reasons. We will try to give notice of planned maintenance where practicable.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Cancel any subscription first (Section 4.5).

We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, where:

  • You breach these Terms, and in particular Sections 6 and 7
  • You share credentials or paid access, or maintain multiple accounts to obtain benefits intended for one person
  • You attempt to circumvent payment, entitlement or device-limit checks
  • You make repeated or abusive refund requests, or initiate a chargeback for a purchase you made
  • We receive a credible abuse complaint, blocklisting or law-enforcement enquiry that we reasonably attribute to your use
  • Your use is fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful to us, to other users, to our network providers, or to a third party
  • We are required to do so by law, a court, or a store
  • An account with no paid subscription has been inactive for more than 24 months, after we have given you notice

Where the breach is minor and can be fixed, we will normally warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where it is serious, or where warning you would increase the risk of harm to our network or to others, we may act immediately.

If we terminate your access because you breached these Terms, we do not refund any amount you have paid, and you remain responsible for charges already incurred. Any subscription must still be cancelled through your store account to stop future charges. This does not affect refunds you are entitled to under the consumer law of your country.

Sections 6, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 survive termination.

11. Third-party services and content

The App interacts with networks, devices, operating systems and services we do not control. Many websites and services actively detect and block VPN connections, and some prohibit VPN use in their terms. We are not responsible for a third party’s decision to block, restrict or penalise connections made through the Service, and such a decision is not a defect in the App.

Where the App contains links to third-party content, or relies on third-party components, we are not responsible for that content or those components, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Intellectual property and feedback

The App, its software, design, text, graphics and all related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us suggestions, ideas or feedback, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free right to use them for any purpose, without obligation or payment to you.

13. Changes to the App and to these Terms

We develop the App continuously. We may add, change, limit or remove features, protocols and server locations, and may stop offering the App or any part of it. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will give you reasonable notice and, where the law requires it, an appropriate remedy.

We may update these Terms — for example to reflect changes to the App or to the law. We will change the effective date shown above and, where the changes are material, give notice in the App before they take effect. Continued use of the App after that means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the App and cancel any subscription.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, security, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App or the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that any server location will remain available, or that it will meet your requirements. The matters listed in Section 5 are expressly excluded from any warranty.

The App is a general-purpose consumer tool. It is not intended for use in any situation where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or serious physical, financial or environmental harm, and must not be relied on for that purpose — including where your safety depends on your identity or location remaining concealed.

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that cannot be excluded, and nothing in this Section limits them.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, however caused
  • We are not liable for any loss resulting from a third party’s blocking, restriction or termination of your access to its service because you used a VPN, or from any legal consequence of your use of a VPN in a jurisdiction where such use is restricted
  • Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us or through a store for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 50

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected, and some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense — including abuse complaints, blocklisting costs and claims from network providers — arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, the traffic you send or receive through it, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence. If you are a consumer, this Section applies only to the extent permitted by the law of the country where you habitually live, and only to loss caused by your own deliberate or negligent breach of these Terms; nothing in it affects your statutory rights.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Nothing in this Section prevents us from applying to any court of competent jurisdiction for injunctive or other equitable relief to protect our intellectual property or the security and integrity of the Service, or to prevent unauthorised access or use.

If you are a consumer: this choice does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provision of the law of the country where you habitually live. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you keep the protections of your local consumer law and may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including rights of withdrawal, conformity and remedy for digital content — which, because Apple and Google are the seller for in-app purchases, you exercise through them.

Please contact us at support@captain.show first. Most problems are resolved faster that way than through a court.

18. Export controls and sanctions

The App contains encryption software and is subject to export control and sanctions laws. You confirm that you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, a country subject to a comprehensive embargo by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United Nations, and that you are not on any restricted or prohibited party list maintained by those authorities. You agree not to use, export or re-export the App in breach of any applicable export control or sanctions law, and you acknowledge that we may be unable to provide the Service in some locations for this reason.

19. General

  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later
  • Events beyond our control. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of government, war, natural disaster, epidemic, labour dispute, internet or utility failure, blocking or throttling of VPN traffic by a state or network operator, or acts or omissions of app stores, hosting or network providers
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided your rights are not reduced
  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the terms shown on the purchase screen are the entire agreement between us regarding the App, and replace any earlier version
  • Notices. We may give notice in the App, on our website, or by email where we have your address. You give notice to us at support@captain.show
  • Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience, and the English version governs to the extent permitted by law
